When I discovered Etsy in 2012, I immediately became a shop owner. I'd been selling online via my own websites, but the idea of crafty people coming together to market their handmade wares seemed like the perfect venue for my jewelry and textile pieces, and indeed Etsy proved to be the right community for my work.
As time went by, Etsy not only became my preferred venue for selling but also for buying. During my shopping quests, I discovered shops that were selling digital downloads for printing at home. Once again, I had an immediate urge to become a new shop owner and expand into this medium. As a licensed artist with an extensive love and background in art and graphic design, I couldn't imagine a more enjoyable endeavor. It had simply never occurred to me before.
So here I am, very slowly (it's almost painfully slow - LOL!) converting some of my existing designs into digital formats for printing and crafting purposes. What a wonderful way to merge a passion for both art and crafting, and since Etsy is the go-to spot for DIY crafters, I'm excited to reach out to those who share my passions.
Thank you so much for your interest in my work, and please don't hesitate to convo me with questions. -Annie
